His Path - Privacy Policy

His Path ("the App") is a daily devotional app developed by Neil Rosado ("we", "us", or "our"). Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account using Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, or email, we collect:

• Your name (as provided by Apple or Google, or entered by you)
• Your email address

Devotional History: Your completed devotional sessions, streaks, and progress are stored locally on your device. This data may be synced to our servers to enable features like cross-device access and backup.

Heart Text (Optional): You may optionally share what is on your heart before a devotional. This text is sent to our AI service to personalize your devotional but is not permanently stored on our servers.

Subscription Information: If you subscribe to His Path Premium, your subscription is managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status through RevenueCat but do not have access to your payment details.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, access, or store:

• Your location or GPS data
• Your contacts or address book
• Your photos, camera, or microphone
• Device identifiers for advertising purposes
• Browsing history or data from other apps

3. How We Use Your Information

• Authentication: To create and manage your account
• Personalization: To generate devotional content tailored to your mood, focus, and preferences
• Progress Tracking: To maintain your streak, session history, and journey
• Subscription Management: To verify your premium subscription status
• Voice Narration: To generate audio narration of your devotional content

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Supabase - Authentication and data storage (supabase.com/privacy)
• Anthropic (Claude AI) - Devotional content generation (anthropic.com/privacy)
• ElevenLabs - Premium voice narration (elevenlabs.io/privacy)
• RevenueCat - Subscription management (revenuecat.com/privacy)
• Apple Sign In - Authentication (apple.com/privacy)
• Google Sign In - Authentication (policies.google.com/privacy)

5. Notifications

His Path uses local notifications only to remind you of your morning and evening devotional times. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and are not sent from our servers. You can enable or disable them at any time in the app's Settings.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your devotional history and preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage. Account data is stored securely on Supabase with encryption in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

7. Data Selling

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Ever.

8. Your Rights and Choices

• Delete Your Account: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly within the app under Settings > Account > Delete Account.
• Sign Out: You can sign out at any time from Settings.
• Skip Account Creation: You can use the app without creating an account, though some features like cross-device sync will not be available.
• Manage Notifications: You can enable or disable reminders in Settings.
• Cancel Subscription: You can cancel your premium subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.

9. Children's Privacy

His Path is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the updated policy within the app. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
